Technological and digital advancements such as this app are just some signs of the potential the young workforce has. It is estimated that 60 percent of the workers are still below 30. The development of the country is so fast that the skyline in Phnom Penh is practically changing every year with new high rise commercial and residential buildings.

Cambodia has moved from one of the poorest countries in the world to a lower-middle-income country in 2016 and there seems to be no slow-down in sight. The cheers at the Cambodia Property Awards echoed the trend.

Peng Huoth Group won the title of Best Developer for the fourth consecutive year, an accolade that has not been seen in the Property Awards’ history before. A list of all the winners can be seen here.
